Minnesota Hunting Season
Here in Minnesota, hunting season is a big deal. If you don’t participate yourself, you probably know at least a few people who do. While much of Minnesota hunting season is over for 2017, we are already looking forward to next year.
If you are not ready to quit yet, there is still some time left for certain types of game. If you are a bow hunter, you can still bag yourself a deer through December 31st. Bobcat season runs through January 7th. Rabbit and squirrel season covers much of the winter and is open through February 28th. You can also still hunt grouse and pheasant until January 1st.
If you have never been hunting before, but would like to try it out, there are a few things you need to do. Make sure that if you are planning a hunt, you follow all the Minnesota rules and regulations and secure your license before you head out. Another good recommendation is to take a hunter safety course. These courses will cover all the safety precautions and rules you need to follow.
How successful was your hunting season this year? Here at Don Robinson Mitsubishi, many of us are hunters and look forward to spending a weekend or two out in the wilderness next fall.
