Mitsubishi Unveils New Engelberg Tourer and Dendo Drive House Technology

Mitsubishi recently released the Engelberg Tourer and an innovative Dendo Drive House system at Europe’s Geneva International Motor Show this spring. Highlighting the next-generation of crossover design as well as state-of-the-art eco-friendly automotive technology, Mitsubishi wowed crowds with their latest designs.

According to Mitsubishi, the Dendo Drive House (DDH) system allows drivers to use energy generated from stopping and other driving activities to power their homes. As part of the latest wave of V2H technology (vehicle-to-home), DDH uses high-tech battery storage technology and electric powertrains to help you make the most of your driving.

“DDH is a new energy ecosystem which allows owners of electric vehicles to generate, store and share energy automatically between their car and home, further enhancing the value of electric vehicles,” reads the Mitsubishi press release.

Mitsubishi also showcased the Engelberg Tourer concept vehicle, named for a ski resort in the central region of Switzerland, that uses a Twin Motor 4WD plug-in hybrid EV powertrain system. This new vehicle allows you to drive in all-weather conditions without leaving a large carbon footprint. Plus, this new concept is well-suited for the DDH technology, connecting the Engelberg to your home.

While we don’t have the Engelberg Tourer and Dendo Drive House Technology on sale at Don Robinson Mitsubishi, we do have an impressive lineup of vehicles for you to test drive. Contact us for more information.
