Leasing a vehicle is an excellent option when you’re looking to get a brand-new ride without breaking the bank. You only have to cover the cost of depreciation instead of the full price. This gives you lower monthly payments and a lower initial down payment. If you’re looking to push your savings any further, the Mitsubishi Mirage just topped the industry as the most affordable car to lease – which means you can get all the modern amenities you want for as low as $219 a month*.
The study that discovered this information was conducted by Growella. It is a destination website that analyzes all things related to lifestyle, career, and money and offers advice. The “100 Most Affordable Cars to Lease” study, as it was termed, found that the Mirage had an average auto insurance cost of $35 and monthly gas costs as low as $79**. The overall affordability of the Mitsubishi Mirage can also be attributed to its low starting MSRP, but its great fuel economy is also factored in.
Other benefits to leasing the Mitsubishi Mirage – besides it being the most affordable car on the market – include tech features. These include its standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, as well as a Rockford-Fosgate sound system. Swing by Don Robinson Mitsubishi to check it out today.
*Starting costs, negotiated pricing, and consequently the cost of monthly payments differ from dealership to dealership
**Automobile insurance and fuel economy varies depending on the individual and a number of other factors
The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a tried and true option for those shopping for a crossover. Crafted with elegant design and filled with cool features, the Outlander Sport has always offered a lot of bang to the buck. Early this February, this crossover was made even more appealing by the debut of the new 2017 Outlander Sport Limited Edition—LE for short. The Outlander Sport LE was revealed at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show and stays true to the Mitsubishi standards by offering lots of value for an affordable price tag.
The 2017 Outlander Sport LE is the second highest trim level, following the base model. This sophisticated crossover will turn heads with its modern design. An alloy fuel door matches the 18-inch alloy wheels. The alloy touches are complemented by black painted door mirrors, plus notable lighting like HID headlamps and fog lamps.
The inside of the Outlander Sport LE has its own stylish touches. Red stitching on the steering wheel, brake lever and shift knob plus aluminum pedals make the roomy interior pop. There’s extra comfort in the heated seats. Handy technology includes a rearview camera plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for advanced smartphone integration during every drive. The 2017 Outlander Sport LE offers all of this, plus the same reliable performance to be expected in a Mitsubishi, making it an irresistible choice.
Mitsubishi’s new crossover has been in the works for quite some time, and now it looks like we’ll be getting an official debut. The 2017 Geneva Motor Show takes place in March, and, following the teaser photo the automaker released not too long ago, that’s where we’ll see it live. Best of all, the new model won’t premiere as a concept vehicle, but rather as a production vehicle!
The new compact crossover is both sporty and coupe-like. The teaser photo reveals the profile which matches the description pretty well. The C-pillar and beltline offer a look that’s nearly spot-on. The front end looks similar to the Outlander’s, due largely in part to the similar headlights. The utility vehicle will be slotted between the Outlander Sport and standard Outlander models.
The Outlander Sport is expected to shrink and the standard Outlander will grow slightly between 2019 and 2020. The new model will likely arrive in the United States in early 2018.
Keep an eye out for Mitsubishi’s new crossover at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show on March 7th. There’s no pricing available just yet, but knowing Mitsubishi, the compact crossover will be a true value.
We here at Don Robinson Mitsubishi can’t wait for the official unveiling of the new Mitsubishi crossover.
The Paris Motor Show is one of a handful of major automotive events held around the world throughout the year. It’s a time for automakers to show off production models and concept vehicles alike. Mitsubishi was out to take the spotlight this year with a set of concepts that were easy on the eyes, to say the least.
A next-generation plug-in hybrid crossover took center stage, but it wasn’t the Outlander we were hoping for. Instead, the GT-PHEV concept, otherwise known as the Grand Tourer, is the latest hybrid concept to debut in recent years.
Next year, however, is an entirely new story.
Starting in 2017, Mitsubishi’s debuts will no longer just be concepts. Instead, production models will take the helm under the leadership of Tsunehire Kunimoto, Mitsubishi’s new global design chief. His strategy is to boast about the brand’s reputation while continuing to move forward.
Remember that Grand Tourer Concept? There’s a very real possibility it could become the next-generation Outlander in 2019. As a result, Mitsubishi played with an upscale design theme for the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
The GT-PHEV boasted a floating roof and maximized space and visibility on the interior. The future of Mitsubishi begins at the Geneva Motor Show next spring where the Japanese automaker will unveil its newest crossover.
We here at Don Robinson Mitsubishi are happy with what we saw at the Paris Motor Show!
On the heels of Ford’s first-ever mobile Escape the Room game in the 2017 Ford Escape, Mitsubishi too is trying to hook young drivers through innovative test driving programs. Mitsubishi has launched “Night Drive,” a campaign that invites drivers to virtually test drive the new Mirage G4.
The website turns the user’s smartphone into a steering wheel and lets gives them feel like they’re driving the car from home. Mitsubishi says their target audience with the affordable, feature-packed Mirage G4 is young buyers, who are more environmentally conscious when it comes to fuel use and want smaller cars they can easily drive in cities.
The Mitsubishi Night Drive campaign asks testers to use both their smartphone and laptop to test specific features in the Mitsubishi Mirage G4. Tapping the gas pedal button on your smartphone starts a demonstration of the Hill Start Assist feature that helps the car move up a steep incline.
Mitsubishi says this program is a “new marketing launch for us” and that this could be a smart alternative to trying to get buyers to the dealership for initial test driving. This way, buyers can experience the car from their homes and get an idea of what they want, making them more likely to come to the dealership.

As smartphones become increasingly important to our daily lives, choosing a vehicle sometimes means having to switch from your preferred platform. Other times it means passing on a vehicle that you really love. With the new 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage changes, you won’t have to do either!
As if the car wasn’t already versatile enough, it was just announced that the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage will feature both Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto. These features and much more will make the affordable small sedan more luxurious than ever before!
Both Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto offer fantastic capability. Android Auto features a well-organized interface that allows for intuitive interaction. Apple CarPlay gives iPhone users that same super easy-to-use display they are used to.
The changes on the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage go way beyond the addition of Apple CarPlay. In particular, the Mirage is better looking than ever with the introduction of a new hood, grille and lighting system. There’s also an option for a Rockford-Fosgate audio system and no matter whether you’re an Apple or an Android person, the music coming through those speakers is going to sound amazing!

Mitsubishi’s sales have been soaring as of late, and the automaker plans to cash in on that success soon with the release of a new crossover coming in late 2017/early 2018. The new Mitsubishi compact crossover will slot between the Outlander and Outlander Sport in the automaker’s lineup, and will be sold mainly in Europe and the United States.
Automotive News reports that the crossover will likely take styling cues from the eX Concept crossover which debuted recently at the Tokyo Motor Show. Its competitors will include the likes of the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson in a segment that is becoming increasingly popular with drivers across the globe.
The release of the new crossover will mark Mitsubishi’s comeback as a strong player in the crossover/SUV world. Currently, the automaker’s lineup consists of three cars and two crossovers, but the addition of this new model would even things up and make Mitsubishi a strong contender in a contended segment.
If you can’t wait a couple more years for the release of the new Mitsubishi compact crossover, stop by and check out the current lineup at Don Robinson Mitsubishi. Feel free to share your comment below about what you think this new SUV might be like for the Mitsubishi brand!
The Mitsubishi Mirage has been an overwhelming success in the United States since its 2014 model, and the follow-up 2015 Mirage continued that trend. However, fans may have noticed that Mitsubishi seemed to be holding off on a 2016 model, making many believe that the Japanese carmaker has halted Mirage production—but think again.
It turns out that Mitsubishi has decided to skip the 2016 Mirage, because they are skipping straight to the 2017 model year. And you can bet that the next Mirage to hit dealerships will be the best yet.
Little information is known about the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage, besides that it’s slated to hit dealerships early next spring. Now that Mitsubishi has made their big announcement in skipping the 2016 model, perhaps more information is on the way.
We would have to guess that the 2017 Mirage will have some pretty big cosmetic changes, and like its predecessor – the 2015 Mirage – it will probably be one of the most fuel-efficient, non-hybrid, and non-electric vehicles on the market. We at Don Robinson Mitsubishi can’t wait to see what improvements will be made on this already great vehicle! Share with us your speculations about the upcoming 2017 model in the comments below!
