Mitsubishi Mirage owners are more likely than owners of any other vehicle (in its segment) to return to the Mitsubishi brand when they are ready for a new car. Mitsubishi has been awarded IHS Automotive’s Model Loyalty Awards, earning the title of “highest Model Loyalty in the Non-Luxury Traditional Sub-Compact Car Segment for the 2014 model year.”
The HIS Automotive Loyalty Awards are presented annually to automakers, based on actual consumer transactions. The awards recognize automakers for standing out in their segments for their ability to retain repeat customers over multiple buying cycles.
“We are delighted to receive this Model Loyalty recognition by IHS Automotive,” said Don Swearingen, Executive Vice President of MMNA in a statement. He goes on to say “Mitsubishi Motors has experienced growing customer loyalty across our entire model lineup through the years, and this award demonstrates that we are successfully retaining our current customers while simultaneously introducing new consumers to the brand.”
It’s no wonder Mitsubishi Mirage model loyalty is through the roof. The Mirage offers excellent fuel economy (37 mpg city and 44 mpg highway), an overall vehicle safety score of 4-Stars awarded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, an array of features, and a starting price of just $12,995.
Stop by Don Robinson Mitsubishi today to see for yourself why the Mirage keeps owners coming back to the Mitsubishi brand.
In a recent speech at the Chicago Auto Show, Mitsubishi Motors North America CEO Don Swearingen told the audience that Mitsubishi was “here to stay.” He was talking about the Japanese automaker’s presence in the States. To prove it, Mitsubishi is bringing back the 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV, after a one-year absence here.
The 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV is a super-compact car that seats four and runs strictly on electricity. As Green Car Reports tells us, “The Mitsubishi i-MiEV was the first modern electric small car to go on the market, entering limited sales in Japan in 2008.”
The car runs on a 16 kWh battery which gives the i-MiEV a 62 mile range, sufficient for any work-a-day commute. For the incoming 2016 model, this will not change. However, Mitsubishi did mention that it was going to liven up the options for the new model.
Mitsubishi has been very vocal about its commitment to create viable alternative powertrain’s. The incoming 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV provides a fantastic counterpart to the larger Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Hybrid. While the latter provides everything that a midsize sporty SUV should, the i-MiEV can go where few cars can go, in that impossibly tight parking spot for example. And don’t forget, it cost the environment zero emissions to get you to that parking space. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the i-MiEV here at Don Robinson Mitsubishi!
With an impressive EPA-estimated mileage of 40 mpg combined, the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage was named one of the “Greenest Vehicles” of the year by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).
The Mirage is powered by a 1.2-liter engine and a continuously variable automatic transmission. It is the only traditional gasoline-powered vehicle on the list, but it is clear to see that its engineering is anything but run-of-the-mill. The hatchback provides impressive efficiency even among competing models using alternative fuels. This provides customers with the familiarity that comes with gasoline power while providing efficient travel and peace of mind in knowing the vehicle is environmentally friendly, even more so than some of the hybrid and electric vehicles on the list.
“We are pleased to see our 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage named to the ACEEE’s ‘Greenest Vehicles’ list, and we look forward to launching more new innovative and affordably-priced environmentally-friendly vehicles in the future,” said Don Swearingen, executive vice president for Mitsubishi Motors North America.
Furthermore, “with its low price, plentiful features, exceptional fuel economy and extensive warranty, the Mitsubishi Mirage offers automotive consumers an unprecedented new-car value.”
Available with a starting price of just $12,995, you can find the award-winning 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage here at Don Robinson Mitsubishi today.
