Mitsubishi announced that it will be delivering the redesigned Eclipse Cross by the second quarter of 2021, so that means you’ll be able to own the 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SUV early next year.

The overhauled Eclipse Cross blends utility with modern aesthetics to create a stylish yet functional SUV for fashionable families in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. The new look flaunted by the updated Eclipse Cross has more dynamic angles and eye-catching lines. To summarize this SUV in one word, it would be … hot!

In particular, the new Eclipse Cross is a must-buy if you live in Saint Cloud. Its highly efficient fuel economy is valuable for saving money if you commute frequently to Minneapolis or run errands around town every day while your kids are in school.

So far, Mitsubishi has only released teasers of the new Eclipse Cross, so we’re hoping for more details to come by the end of the year. We do know that the SUV’s new design draws inspiration from the e-EVOLUTION Concept, but we don’t know how that will translate to its inner workings.

On the heels of the 2022 Eclipse Cross will be the rest of the 2022 Mitsubishi lineup, which has other changes in store. These include exterior updates on the Mirage and Mirage G4, plus an all-new generation of the Outlander and improved all-electric driving range on the Outlander PHEV. Going forward, every Mitsubishi will have Forward Collision Mitigation with Pedestrian Detection as standard.

Your family is growing and that little two-door sedan just isn’t cutting it. What you need is a crossover or SUV like the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross or Outlander.

Families have a lot of stuff

The larger your family, the more stuff you need to take with you wherever you go. It starts with car seats and diaper bags, then moves on to sports equipment and camping gear. A crossover offers the cargo space that families need to haul all this stuff for every stage of life.

The Eclipse Cross offers 22.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, while the Outlander has 34.2 cubic feet of space behind the second row when the third row is folded down. Unlike a truck, a crossover carries cargo in an enclosed and weather-proof space; not to mention being much easier to park.

Bringing friends along

It’s much easier to get in and out of the second row of seating in a crossover or SUV than in a sedan. The Eclipse Cross has two rows of seating and can carry five passengers, while the Outlander has a third row and can carry seven people.

Safety

Crossovers come with many safety features built into the design and construction of the vehicle, as well as technological assists to help drivers stay away, keep to their lane, or avoid collisions. The Outlander also has LED headlights and optional fog lights to let you see what’s coming.

When you’re looking for the perfect ride for your family, look no further than the affordable and classy lineup available at Don Robinson Mitsubishi in St. Cloud.
