Mid Minnesota Coin Expo
Coin collectors will have a blast at the Mid Minnesota Coin Expo on September 26. The coin show, which has free admission and free parking, will feature over 40 vendors of coins, currency, and supplies so that you can browse, buy, and get appraisals all in one place.
St. Cloud Royal Princess Ball
Treat your kids like royalty by taking them to St. Cloud’s Royal Princess Ball on October 9. This event is perfect for your little princes and princesses, as they can meet their favorite princesses and enjoy stage performance, dancing, stories, games, and more.
Sound of Music by GREAT Theatre
Experience one of the greatest musicals ever at GREAT Theatre as beautiful songs fill the air. The Sound of Music production runs from November 19 to November 28.
Best Places to See Nature Around Saint Cloud, MN
St. Cloud parks offer great opportunities for you and your family to get out into nature. Local parks provide hiking trails to traverse on a sunny Minnesota day, and these are the nature spots nearby that we recommend.
Munsinger Gardens sits along the banks of the Mississippi River across from St. Cloud State University. Miles of winding paths give you a chance to get out into the fresh air and sunshine without traveling very far. They’re open daily during the spring, summer, and fall.
Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge
There is plenty of nature to see at the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge. It is a wildlife sanctuary through August 31, and offers hiking trails, fishing spots, and a canoe route. Some areas are open to hunting after September 1, so check the park website for information before you go. The refuge is open from sunrise to sunset every day in season.
Quarry Park and Nature Preserve
Spanning 684 acres, Quarry Park and Nature Preserve is the largest park in Stearns County. The land consists of woodlands, prairies, wetlands, and rock formations, with many species of native plants here. The Park is open from 8:00 AM to sunset year-round, and parking permits are required.
