Tag: Outlander Sport upgrade

The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport already offers a little bit of everything to drivers, but that hasn’t stopped Mitsubishi from finding new ways to offer its customers even more. It was recently announced that Mitsubishi is once again expanding the Outlander Sport lineup with the addition of the 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Limited Edition.

The Limited Edition may be the most opulent iteration of the Outlander Sport yet. The exterior of this new Outlander Sport model is marked by 18-inch black-painted alloy wheels, black outside mirrors, and a black grille. Inside, drivers will find red accent stitching throughout the seating, steering wheel, and shifter.

The 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Limited Edition will also add an 8-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio system. This system will be compatible with both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, keeping you connected no matter which kind of smartphone device you use.

Other exciting additions to the Outlander Sport Limited Edition include heated front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Meanwhile, the Black Edition trim of the Outlander Sport is set to receive some brand-new features for the 2021 model year. Chief among these new features is a safety suite consisting of Automatic High Beam headlights, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Mitigation.

2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

Next to the highly anticipated release of the newly revamped 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander, you may think the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will not be as exciting.  Although there haven’t been as many changes to the Outlander Sport as the Outlander, this year’s model has plenty of new things to offer.

The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport exterior updates include a new “Dynamic Shield,” new 18” alloy wheels, and power folding side door mirrors with turn signal indicators built right in.  Also, the Outlander Sport has more colors to choose from this year ranging from Labrador Black, Octane Blue, Cool Silver, Rally Red and the standard Diamond White Pearl.

As for the engine, the 2.4L MIVEC engine is standard for the SE, SEL, and GT trims and includes a CVT automatic transmission.  There is also an optional AWC System available for each trim level.

The interior of the new Outlander Sport has all new seats and steering wheel along with some cool features like the auto-dimming rearview mirror and the 6.1” Display Audio System that is new and improved.  These features are added to the long list of already standard features available.
